Sunny Day - original acrylic painting

Sunny Day is a 20 by 16 inch acrylic on canvas. This piece pairs bright orange and yellow flowers with green leaves against a textured backdrop of weathered wooden fence in gray, blue, and warm tones. I was drawn to the contrast between the vibrant blooms and the natural, worn wood, using color to create depth and balance. The work began from a photograph but evolved through a focus on bold, lively color.
