Venice Window Boxes – Original Oil Painting

Venice Window Boxes

Oil on canvas

20" x 16" x 1.5"

Venice Window Boxes captures a weathered building façade with textured walls. A tall green arched door anchors the composition below a small balcony overflowing with pink flowers. Behind the balcony, a matching green window is closed, grounding the scene in quiet stillness. Thick brushstrokes bring out the rough surface and the vibrant life of the plants. I’m drawn to doorways and windows, especially when framed by flourishing boxes of greenery — this piece grew from that simple fascination.
